Head Coach Clint Lien is a certified Development Coach through the National Coaching Certification of Canada. He has been involved in triathlon since 1982 and has been coaching for 14 years.
Clint’s coaching accolades include pro-level Ironman wins and podium finishes, multiple age group podiums and World Championship qualifiers. He is also great with beginners and getting every level of athlete motivated and working hard towards their goals.
Clint coaches many of our weekly swim, bike and run sessions.
Professional Triathlete and Coach Sara Gross provides individual coaching for athletes in Victoria and elsewhere. Sara uses her knowledge of the elite end of the sport to help athletes take their performance to the next level. With a background in swim teaching and coaching, Sara has a reputation of taking athletes beyond their expectations.
Sara’s coaching achievements include many age group podium finishes at local and World Championship level and even Hawaii Ironman podium and top-10 performances.

Tenille Hoogland is a coach and nutrition consultant. At the end of 2013 Tenille retired from being a full-time professional triathlete. She takes her knowledge of training and racing around the world and her education in fitness, health and nutrition at Simon Fraser University to support athletes and individuals to reach their performance goals in triathlon, running and general fitness. In addition to her professionalism, she brings tremendous energy and enthusiasm to her hands-on coaching approach.
